After graduating fashion design school in California, Megan Gray began her career designing for Geren Ford in Los Angeles and helped launch their ‘ Hawks’ collaboration with Urban Outfitters. 2 years later, she relocated to New York to design for Ralph Lauren. With 5 years of fashion design experience she made the decision to change fields into styling, assisting major fashion stylist Anna Zirouva at Vogue Russia in NY before breaking off on her own. 

In 2014 Megan Gray co-founded The Vernacular, an online creative platform for fashion artists to interpret their stories into beautiful editorials.

In the past few years, Megan has styled numerous advertorial campaigns for Conde Nast, worked for Vogue Russia, and styled editorials for Nylon, Metal, Streets and Garance Dore. She has worked as a costume designer for I Origins and co-designed Brit Marling’s costumes for the second season of The OA. She has styled small capsules for Elle Japan, and consulted on the short film Swallowed. Megan has costumed commercials for TJ Maxx, Dove, Sony, Jaguar, and Degree. She currently styles projects and Ecom for Sies Marjan.

Her celebrity clients include Brit Marling, Steven Yeun, Rachel Keller, Bria Vinaite, Jessica Stroup, Morgan Sailor, Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson.
