Megan Bowman GraY

Megan Bowman Gray is a costume designer for Film and Television as well as a fashion stylist for editorial and celebrity clients. After studying fashion in college, she worked as a designer at fashion houses, culminating with three years at Ralph Lauren in New York. In 2011 she began her styling career in editorials and commercials. This naturally led to celebrity styling. Clients have included Brit Marling, Steven Yeun, Bria Vinaite, Suki Waterhouse, Phoebe Tonkin and Jason Schwartzman.

In 2013 she costume designed the film “I Origins” directed by Mike Cahill. She honed her skills working under legendary costume designer Jeffrey Kurland, going on to be an assistant costume designer for large studio films including “Birds of Prey”, “The Matrix Resurrections” and “Captain Marvel 2”. She costume designed Charlie Mcdowell’s latest film “Windfall” starring Lily Collins, Jesse Plemons and Jason Segel. She works closely with creators / directors Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij; co-designing Brit Marling’s costumes for the second season of the Netflix series “The OA”. Most recently she was the costume designer for their seven episode series “A Murder at the end of the World” for FX/Hulu starring Emma Corrin, Harris Dickinson, Brit Marling and Clive Owen. Her latest projects Lurker premiered at Sundance, releasing world wide in August 2025 and Panic Carefully, Sam Esmail’s newest film in post production releasing in 2026.
